Nive(o)us
I like cooking and frogs
And strawberries
And robots
Although I'm not so sure how well all of those would go together.
I’m back to blogging on this little thing, I think. I’m feeling a lot happier now than I did when I decided to scrap it.
It’s weird, but rereading this, and rereading my conversations with friends, I think I’ve become a lot more—hesitant? with my speech when I type. Like I sound uncertain. Huh.
Poem: Kissin
Well how’ll it do you sir
to know
last time you kissed your lass
you laid lips upon
a dirty, slimy thing
with a snakey tongue
that’s puked before and spat before
and said mean dirty things
when no-one else was aroundHow’ll it do you there
to know
that thing you’re kissin’s
human- I am not quite a fan of this one yet, but it’s good enough for me to feel like putting up a rough sketch.
I like the seventh line— I think it has nice rhythm to it— but I’m not much fond of the second part. I don’t like the spacing on it. It sounds too forced, I think, and so does the whole meaning of it. The first part is a lot better in comparison. But I like it.
